As the Handmaid works for Lord English and has been sent through time to meddle in class warfare and the fate of the troll race, as well as being informed of the bargain that was once made, she may know quite a lot about some characters, particularly ancestors! I don't want to step on anybody's toes, so if you would please let me know what you are and aren't okay with her knowing here, I would greatly appreciate that.

CHARACTER INFO
Name: The Handmaid/The Demoness
Gender: Female
Source: Homestuck
Canon point: Just before her final confrontation with the Condesce; ie. instead of following Lord English's orders to meet her on the ship and recruit her, the opportunity for defiance is presented one last time in the form of being able to take the Sburb discs instead and get away, and finally take her fate in her own hands
Age: An eternity, more or less
Colour: mar00n red
Chumhandle: arrestedAutonomy

History: Handmaid's role
Personality: The Handmaid plays only a minor role in Homestuck (or, rather, an extremely large role which is at best minority detailed), but she displays a significant amount of personality in the meantime. Her introduction sees her having disobeyed several orders- having turned on the fifth wall, and banged on it in either an attempt to attract the attention of Andrew Hussie or perhaps escape through it. She threw the chair at Doc Scratch's head, and then, when attacking him didn't work, attempted to commit suicide despite the certain knowledge that it would bring her punishment, either by having her "breathing privileges" revoked or with the discipline broom.

The Handmaid, as a teenager, knows that she is destined to be the instrument of her people's eventual transformation into a warlike, violent race, and wants absolutely nothing to do it. She rebels against her station frequently and wants nothing to do with Lord English's plans to have her be his handmaid, as evidenced by her suicide threats and her alluded to acting out, repeatedly. When given the opportunity to escape, she does so immediately, with a very clear SUCKERS and takes off running as fast as she can. When forced to sit and listen to Doc Scratch, she has a perpetually unimpressed and somewhat sassy expression on her face at all times. She displays a flagrant disregard for her own safety, because she doesn't care, despite the significant threats leveled against her and a great capacity for rage and violence seldom seen from any of the trolls before their rampages, and a complete willingness to act destructively. At the time, she did not seem to be resigned to her fate, although at that point she had not been remanded to Lord English's care.

As an adult, I don't believe that these traits are likely to change. She still wishes to die rather than live forever and there's no indication that she has ever ceased to be a bitter, angry assistant to Lord English, unsatisfied with her job and desiring to be uninvolved and free of his influence. However, as an adult, I believe she has probably at least somewhat resigned herself to being forced to do what she is required though (although if the opportunity to rebel in minor ways arose, I imagine that she would take them), but that given the chance to escape the tyranny of his rule and bolt once more, she would probably definitely take that chance. The Handmaid is someone who has been denied choices and freedoms by her curse, only able to act on her own in minor, rebellious ways that ultimately were futile gestures, and the lure of being able to act on her own, for once, would probably be an extremely powerful draw for her, possibly just as strong as the desire for her own death in order to escape. Given that she has been forced to witness the gradual transformation of her people into a violent race, while being told that it was part of the unsuspecting deal that they had made in a timeline she probably can't remember, and being forced to assist, has at best only made her increasingly more bitter over the years, more angry and probably done nothing to temper the bouts of homicidal rage she displayed as a child, although there would be less and less chance to express those in ways against those who have actually angered her. Still, for a Handmaid who has been effectively let off the leash, it bears mentioning that if she could express her anger and make choices for herself, she would certainly do so, in probably the most destructive way she possibly could just for the satisfaction of finally being able to do it on her own terms.

Abilities & physical limitations: The Handmaid, under the power of Lord English's curse, cannot die and presumably will not be able to until she is either free of him somehow or finds someone to take her place as his servant. She possess the ability to move through time and space to be where she needs to be to stir up class warfare and direct the development of the troll species, although it's not clear if this is a power she was born with or a power he had bestowed upon her. The Handmaid also possess the power of clockwork magyks wielded through her two wands/hair sticks, which seem primarily more or less forces of destruction but may have been her own power originally and may tie into her ability to move through time (which I assume will have to be done away with for the purposes of not breaking the game! Or used sparingly)
Appearance: Like this, with eyes that flash blue, yellow, and green (possibly red, it's hard to look at the panel for long)
Notable AU differences from canon, if applicable: This history is more or less accurate to the slight AU history of the Handmaid, with a few minor details. In the previous universe the ancestors inhabited, their planet was invaded and their species threatened with extinction. In order to prevent this, they made a deal with the devil (Lord English) to rewrite events so that would never happen, with the result of resetting the universe so that he could directly influence their growth into a more violent, warlike people, using the Handmaid as his tool.

Strife Specibus: Wandkind
Prototyping: A broken grandfather clock
Title: Scourge of Fate
In-game abilities: As the Hero of Fate, the Handmaid would have the ability to see what was destined to happen in the Alpha Timeline, much the same way her guardian Doc Scratch "knew" what was supposed to happen. However, in her case, the ability to know what is meant to happen will come with the ability to choose to reject that reality and substitute her own, ie. fight fate and force a different outcome of her own choosing. This does not dictate which is the most favorable outcome, or which is the best outcome, but only allows her to choose between outcomes and whether or not she wants to support what is meant to happen or rebel against it. Additionally, Scourge would be an active class, tying into the idea of exploiting fate for her own benefit, and visiting punishment and destruction as a form of fate or against fate, the destruction of what must be in favor of choosing ones own path and rebelling against fate.
Planet: Land of Chalk and Felt. This planet more or less resembles an endless series of moors and mountains, the fields constructed of felt- plants, trees, ground, all of it felt- overlaid over chalk. There are great open chalk pits scattered around the planet, always inlaid in a very specific rectangular pattern, and the chalk mountains disappear off into the clouds. The atmosphere is mostly misty and unclear, tinged faintly green from the ground, and the denizens are small black scotty dogs who live out on the felt highlands.
